Young Marines help kids with school supplies
YM/PVT Justin Cheney takes time from school to help take school supplies to Indian Wells kids who do not have much. YM/PVT Cheney talks to the kids about how it’s like to be a Young Marines then helped the teacher in her class until he had to leave.
Curb cut and roadway
YM/PFC Shania Halverson take the time to help Pinetop PD on curb cuts and roadways. Pinetop PD asks if the Young Marines could do this, to help save on cost and time for the road work in the winter on snowplow and other road work. It took 2 hours to do and in about 2 miles radius.
