• Celebrate National Night Out on Aug. 3 to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness in your neighborhood The Annual National Night Out strengthens communities by encouraging neighborhoods to engage in stronger relationships with each other and with their local law enforcement partners. Send a clear message that your neighborhood is organized and fighting back against crime. Interact with your neighbors and build support for local anti-crime programs. Strengthen police-neighborhood partnerships for a stronger, safer community. Last year's National Night Out campaign involved over 36 million people in 14,625 communities from all 50 states, U.S. territories, Canadian cities and military bases worldwide.
